The
snowfields on Mt Buller are vast and varied from gentle beginner
slopes to spectacular double black diamond chutes and there's
also a fantastic range of intermediate runs.
The lift system is one of the most advanced in the country with
a total of 25 lifts including, 13 chairlifts this means less
times in queues and more time out of the slopes.
The Mt
Buller grooming fleet is 15 strong providing smooth corduroy
each morning on most of the runs.
The
snowmaking system has the highest capacity in Australia - Mt
Buller can make more snow more often providing some of the most
reliable snow around. |

SNOW SHOEING
The perfect way to explore the snow covered slopes and enjoy Mt
Buller's
winter wonderland.
There's plenty of deep snow
among the trees and in hard to reach places.
CROSS
COUNTRY SKIING
Mt. Buller has 9km's of easily accessed trails that circle
around the back of the village, offering magnificent views of
Mt. Stirling and the Bluff.
Cross-country skiing is
suitable for people of all ages and abilities and provides a
great physical work out.
FIGGLES
Provide an alternative to skiing yet use the same skills.

the freedom and variety that skiing does and will spice up your

THE
GREAT HALL
La Trobe University has an endless list of activities to keep
you entertained indoors.
All the action takes place
in the Great Hall!
You can enjoy everything
from climbing and abseiling, tennis, badminton, currolling,
basketball, netball, in-line skating and pretty much anything
else imaginable all under one roof.

SNOW
TUBING
Just another way to have fun in the snow at Mt. Buller. Mt.
Buller's Snow Tubing Parks offers an action packed fun snow play
experience for the whole family.
TELEMARKING
Telemark skiing, or free-heel skiing as it is sometimes referred
to, is very elegant and stylish to watch. It looks deceptively
easy but is quite a challenge.
TOBOGGANING
Mt. Buller has two designated toboggan areas offering families
with small children a great on snow experience or perhaps a
chance to relive their first on snow experience.
There is a toboggan park
located in the day car park and also one located next to the
Post Office in the Village.
SCENIC
CHAIRLIFT RIDE
If you're not a skier or snowboarder or you want to take a break
from the slopes but still want to enjoy the spectacular mountain
views ?
Why not take a scenic
chairlift ride on the Horse Hill or Blue Bullet 1 or 2
Chairlift.
The Horse Hill Chairlift on
the northern slopes departs from the day car park and will take
you to Spurs Restaurant.
The Blue Bullet 1 Chairlift
runs directly above Bourke St so you can watch all the skiers
and snowboarders in action.
You can also look back on
the picturesque village so don't forget to pack your camera.
